Boss Woman and Big Guy have decided (they never asked me first) that because they like mountain walking and long distance walking, that they would like to walk the Great Glen Way.

Seemingly I will be going with them ~ Boss Woman has already bought me a backpack so I can carry my own water and biscuits. We have already been camping and I liked it very much ~ I cuddle up to the Big Guy at night to keep warm and except for his snoring it works out fine.

Sometime this summer in May or June as soon as we get some nice sunny days, we are all walking the Great Glen Way. We are hoping to go on 14th or 21st May if the weather stays fine and dry. It's a 73 mile walk from Fort William to Inverness. Boss Woman said that if people would kindly sponsor me then we could donate the money to Scottish Staffie Rescue. If you are interested ~ no pressure mind ~ then you could send the donations to Boss Woman (made payable to Scottish Staffie Rescue) and then she could send them all at once. It seems that they are going to make me do some more high mountain walking as well. Lochnagar apparently is the mountain we are walking in July when Amber is old enough to climb so high up and walk all that distance. Don't forget ~ I climbed my first mountain ~ Ben Whyvis ~ when I was 9 months old and me and Amber climbed the second mountain ~ Mount Keen the other day, so it's no problem for me at all. If it wasn't for Boss Woman and Big Guy walking slow and holding me up, I could race to the top and back down again in about half an hour.

p.s. Boss Woman said this walk would be good practise for them for when they walk some of the Everest Base Camp Trek next year. Apparently I can't go with them. Boss Woman said I would scare the yaks which would send them on a rampage and toss everyone off the path with their big horns !!
